Diogo Vianna is a Brazilian filmmaker and screenwriter. After working on commercial and independent audiovisual productions, he directed experimental and guerrilla-style films. Previously, he worked as a screenwriter on the feature-length documentary *Através da Ala da Prisão*, screened at the 2025 Rio Film Festival. His work explores memory, politics, technology, and Latin American identity through essayistic and observational forms. His experimental short film *EU EXISTO* (2023), created entirely with emerging AI tools, has been presented in academic research and international discussions on artificial intelligence and cinema. *Luzes de Havana* is his first feature film as a director.
